Terms of Service & Conditions of Sale
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Imbertsmithersarms website and all purchases made from our retail location at 1144 El Camino Real, San Carlos, CA 94070. By accessing our site or purchasing any product, including aftermarket Glock triggers, tactical gear, or firearms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Compliance
All sales are contingent upon strict compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You must be of legal age (21+ for handguns, 18+ for long guns in California) and legally eligible to purchase and possess firearms and related components. It is your sole responsibility to know and understand the laws applicable to you. Imbertsmithersarms reserves the right to refuse any sale at our discretion.
2. Product Information & Descriptions
We strive for accuracy in describing our inventory, including specifications for Glock performance triggers, drop-in trigger kits, and flat face triggers. Product images are for illustrative purposes. Minor variations in finish or packaging may occur. Technical details, such as advertised Glock trigger pull weight, are based on manufacturer specifications and can vary with installation and firearm condition.
3. Firearms & Ammunition Sales
- Transfers: All firearm purchases require a background check (DROS) and a mandatory 10-day waiting period, as per California law. Firearms will only be released after receiving a “Proceed” from the California DOJ.
- Inspections: You must physically inspect the firearm at our San Carlos location prior to initiating the DROS. No firearm will be shipped directly to a non-licensee.
- Returns: Firearms and ammunition sales are final once the DROS is submitted, except in cases of proven manufacturer defect.
4. Parts, Accessories & Trigger Upgrades
Sales of components like Glock trigger connectors, trigger bars, trigger springs, and complete drop-in trigger kits are final. These parts are considered gunsmithing items. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure compatibility with their specific firearm model (e.g., Glock 19 trigger vs. Glock 43 trigger) and that installation is performed by a qualified individual. We offer guidance on how to install a Glock trigger, but assume no liability for installation errors or resulting malfunctions.
WARNING: Modifying your firearm, including installing a Glock custom trigger or tactical trigger upgrade, may affect reliability and safety. Some modifications are not recommended for defensive carry. You are responsible for the safe and legal use of any modified firearm.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in USD. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Sales tax is applied as required by California law. Prices are subject to change without notice. While we offer what many consider a best Glock trigger for the value, we do not engage in price-matching on specialty components.
6. Shipping & In-Store Pickup
- Non-Firearm Items: Triggers, gear, and parts can be shipped to most U.S. locations. We ship only to the address on the verified payment method.
- Restricted Items: We cannot ship firearms, magazines over 10 rounds, or other California-restricted items to addresses outside of CA, or to locations where prohibited.
- Pickups: All online orders for in-store pickup must be collected within 14 days.
7. Warranties & Liability
Products are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Imbertsmithersarms acts as a retailer and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use. Your use of any aftermarket Glock trigger or accessory is at your own risk. Always verify Glock trigger safety function after any modification.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, images, and product descriptions, is the property of Imbertsmithersarms or its suppliers. The term “Glock” is a registered trademark of Glock, Inc. We are not affiliated with Glock, Inc.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Mateo County.
10. Policy Updates
We may update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of our site or services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
