Colt Custom Shop Engraved Anaconda STS 8″ .44 Magnum

We’ve got a Colt Anaconda in .44 Magnum here, fresh from the Custom Shop. This isn’t your granddad’s Anaconda – Colt redesigned this revolver around the Python action a few years back, and the improvement in trigger feel is noticeable. It’s a robust double-action revolver built on a stainless steel frame, strong enough for heavy .44 Magnum loads.

The Linear Leaf Spring action makes for a very smooth, non-stacking trigger pull. The 8” barrel gives a good sight radius, and the adjustable sights let you dial in for accuracy whether you’re at the range or using it for hunting. The recoil is definitely there with .44 Magnum, but the solid build and grips help manage it. The frame is also drilled and tapped for optic mounts, should you want to add a red dot.

This revolver is suited to a lot of uses here in Oregon. It makes a capable backcountry sidearm for elk or bear, as well as a solid home defense option.
