The B-14 action is known for its consistent truing and lapping at the factory. Coupled with the pillar bedding in the walnut stock, it minimizes the shifting that can throw off accuracy in many factory rifles. The 22” barrel, with a 1:8 twist rate, is coated in Cerakote for protection from the elements – important for our wet Oregon seasons. This twist rate stabilizes bullets in the 140-147 grain range, making it a good all-around choice for hunting and range work.
Features We Like
- B-14 Action & Bedding: A solid foundation for accuracy, reducing flex between the action and stock.
- 22” Graphite Black Cerakote Barrel: Good balance of velocity and maneuverability, with a protective finish.

- Hinged Floorplate: Reliable and allows for safe unloading without cycling rounds.

This rifle is a good fit for hunters pursuing deer, elk, or blacktail in Oregon, where shots can range from close encounters in the timber to longer engagements in open country.
