This is an Italian reproduction of the 1860 Henry rifle chambered in .44-40, made in the late 1990s according to the listing. It has an octagon barrel, a bladed front sight and an adjustable ladder rear sight. The rifle carries an antiqued Old West factory finish on a wood stock, and the supplier notes that the bore is excellent. A US firearms company custom finished the rifle, and the listing notes earlier ownership by a retired Texas Ranger. The listed condition is used, and the supplier rates the overall condition as excellent.

The .44-40 chambering and the Old West finish suit cowboy action shooting and western-style collecting, which fits the listing's type. The listing gives no West Virginia season or game details for this cartridge, so the description keeps to the rifle's configuration, finish and history.
